Privacy Policy
Last updated 29 September 2026. This policy explains what information METRIKA collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
METRIKA ("we", "us") operates the website metrika.co.ke from Kenya. For privacy questions, email hello@metrika.co.ke.
2. Information you enter in our tools
Figures you type into METRIKA calculators and quizzes are processed in your own browser. They are not sent to our servers. To save you retyping, your inputs and any results you choose to save are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. You can delete them at any time with "Clear my results" on the My results page, or by clearing your browser's site data.
3. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. We don't use this data to identify you.
4. Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Where the law requires it, for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we will ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown, using a consent tool certified by Google. You can change your choice at any time.
5. Sharing and links to other sites
When you use a share button, you are taken to that service, such as WhatsApp, X, Facebook or Telegram, and their own privacy policies apply. We don't sell your personal data.
6. Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, and similar laws elsewhere, you may have the right to be informed about, access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Email hello@metrika.co.ke to make a request. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner in Kenya.
7. Children
METRIKA is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. International transfers and security
Our service providers, including Cloudflare and Google, may process data outside Kenya with appropriate safeguards. We use HTTPS on every page.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and significant changes will be noted on this page.
